Statewide marketing plan and change management facilitation to update the brand of the 100-year-old Cooperative Extension service managed by these two land grant universities.

Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte Campus
Media relations, community outreach and strategic communication to successfully introduce Johnson & Wales to Charlotte when the university announced plans to open an $82 million campus in the city and close campus facilities in Norfolk, Va., and Charleston, S.C.. The University selected Carolina PR to introduce and build its brand presence in the Charlotte region to support this significant, strategic growth move.

York Technical College and Foundation, Rock Hill, S.C.
Led collaborative process to reach consensus on marketing strategy to unify the college under one brand umbrella. Created new graphic identity, tag line and message platform. Provided new web homepage design, graphic standards manual and a communication plan. Also produced fundraising pieces for community campaigns to build new campus buildings.

South Carolina Technical Education System
Facilitated strategic planning sessions with three groups within the state technical college system: President's Council (16 campus presidents); senior staff in Columbia; Board of Trustees. The process helped establish legislative priorities and strategic organizational direction.

Aiken Technical College, Aiken, S.C.
Facilitated strategic planning for the college's foundation resulting in a more engaged and focused board of directors with specific annual goals.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Charlotte, N.C.
Strategic communications for campaigns in 2002 and 2007 that won voter approval for $730 million in bond funding to renovate and build schools. Developed active grassroots campaigns to show how the bonds balanced needs across the county. Campaigns included outdoor, print and radio advertising, direct mail, speakers bureaus, interactive Web sites, email, online advertising and search engine optimization. The school bonds were part of broader campaigns that included bonds for other major community projects.

Darlington County Schools, Darlington, S.C.
Created county-wide support to pass a bond referendum to build the first schools here in nearly 50 years. Carolina PR managed the campaign and created advertising and direct mail materials. We also conducted media relations, telephone polling research and get-out-the-vote efforts.

Fort Mill Schools, Fort Mill, S.C.
Coordinated community outreach in Fort Mill and Tega Cay to win approval of two school bond referenda for this fast-growing school district. Services included campaign management, message development, advertising, media relations, direct mail, voter research and get-out-the-vote program.

Hammond School, Columbia, S.C.
Brand identity development, digital and marketing services for this prestigious college preparatory day school in Columbia, S.C. that serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grades.

Facilitated school board planning to help integrate the board's priorities with emerging priorities from staff strategic planning efforts.

Facilitated efforts to find a common agenda among all presidents of public colleges and universities in South Carolina. This is a group that competes fiercely against one another for resources and students.

Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention and Advancement (CERRA)
Conducted six-month strategic planning process, working closely with the executive director and Board executive committee. Established priorities for the future as the organization faced major funding challenges.
