City of Florence, SC: Building Support for a New Stormwater Utility Carolina PR designed and directed the public education campaign to win acceptance of a new stormwater utility and monthly fee to residents. The utility enables Florence to better address its need for an improved drainage system and meet new water quality regulations. Major Water Main Installation/Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Carolina PR created a multi-faceted communications program to support the expedited installation of a $40 million, 15-mile water main in Charlotte. City leaders tout the project as a model for future public infrastructure projects it undertakes. Installing Pipe, Instilling Confidence: Briar Creek Sewer Improvement Project To help the Charlotte community cope with a two-year, major construction project, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities asked Carolina PR to conduct an intensive grassroots communication campaign. |
