March 2, 2007 Carolina PR Promotes, Adds Staff Carolina Public Relations/Marketing started off 2007 with two staff additions and has promoted a current employee. Joining the firm are Jennifer Ricketts, account manager, and Nichole DePaulo, administrative coordinator. Amanda Kirkpatrick has been promoted to account coordinator. Jennifer Ricketts comes to the firm from Carolinas HealthCare System, where she was a senior marketing coordinator responsible for marketing a variety of the health system business units, including the Neuroscience and Spine Institute, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Radiology, CMC-Mercy and others. Prior to coming to Carolina Public Relations/Marketing, Ricketts worked as an account executive for the Charlotte office of a Raleigh-based public relations agency. She is a North Carolina native and earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nichole DePaulo joins the firm as a recent graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism. While there, she was active with the school’s chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). DePaulo’s experience includes internships with the Charlotte Mayor’s International Cabinet and with the office of US Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ). She is a native of New York. Amanda Kirkpatrick was promoted to account coordinator after working with Carolina PR/Marketing for eight months as administrative coordinator. Before joining the firm, she was public relations and special events coordinator for Drayton Hall, a National Trust Historic Site. She has a B.A. in Corporate Communications from the College of Charleston. Amanda is active in Charlotte Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and is co-chair of the PRSA chapter’s Young Professionals group. ### |
