July 24, 2008 John Durst Elected President of Largest S.C. Rotary Club Carolina PR Senior Counselor John Durst began serving as president of the Rotary Club of Columbia on July 1. With over 300 members, it is the largest Rotary Club in South Carolina. Durst heads the firm's Columbia office and is active in community and statewide civic affairs. He serves as chairman of the board of the Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports and Tourism and is on the executive committee of the board of the South Carolina Golf Association. He is a former board member of both the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, having chaired its Issues Committee, and the Lexington/Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council. ### |
