Hartsville Launches ‘Art of Good Living’ Campaign Created by Carolina PR
The town of Hartsville, S.C., kicked off a new marketing campaign this month that is designed to reposition the community for a new economic future and attract new residents and business investment in the town.
“Hartsville, the Art of Good Living” is the new community brand Carolina PR created after leading a collaborative process that brought local leaders from city government, chamber of commerce, major businesses, education, arts, recreation and other interests together to articulate a common vision for the community.
“We had a relatively abstract challenge and idea as we began to look at the concept of selling a community,” said Dick Puffer, executive director of the Byerly Foundation, a group that supported the campaign development. “Carolina PR’s guidance, research, experience and creativity helped move the abstract to the program we are launching.”
The campaign launch included a promotional brochure, downtown banners, billboard and print advertising as well as a new web presence at www.hartsvillegoodliving.com
